5th Annual Ginormous Pumpkin Regatta

The 5th Annual Regatta is part of a series of events centered around growing GINORMOUS pumpkins. This event follows the giant pumpkin weigh off held at Thanksgiving Point where Brent Evan’s took the coveted 1st place with his pumpkin weighing in at 1, 488 pounds. These pumpkins with names like "Leaky Bottom" and "South County Prom Queen" are then hauled to Sugar House Park and hoisted by forklift into the pond. Onlookers can then watch these “giants” being carved and then raced across the pond. If that’s not enough of a spectacle these “adults” are also wearing incredible costumes!
