About Annual Flute Festival

The Utah Flute Association will be hosting our 2015 Flute Festival on Saturday, March 14th at Gardner Hall, University of Utah.

This year's events will include:

A master class with Susan Hoeppner
She will also be giving a recital on Friday, March 13th.
A Sonata Competition
The High School Scholarship Competition Winner's Recital
Many fun and educational classes, all devoted to the flute.

We will also have lots of great flute vendors including Weissman Music, Summerhays, Sherry Lee Flutes, and representatives from Haynes, Miyazawa, Hammig and Sankyo.

This year's classes will include

Ensemble Sight Reading: Beginners
Ensemble Sight Reading: Intermediate
Ensemble Sight Reading: Advanced
Introduction to Baroque Era Performance Practice
Circular Breathing
A Piccolo class with Caitlyn Valovick-Moore
