Passion Pit returned to the stage in September with a co-headline performance at the fabled Hollywood Bowl, about which Variety Magazine raved, "Angelakos' voice is as divisive as it is stunning to behold -- a helium-soaked sonic weapon that is frequently pushed to the very apex of its register. On this evening, he was in top form, hitting notes with precision and infusing his melodies with a desperate emotional intensity."

Four months after the bands #4 Billboard chart debut with Gossamer, Passion Pit is seeing their first top 10 Alternative chart hit with "Take A Walk" (which currently is sitting at # 5.) Additionally, Passion Pit made their first TV appearance in support of Gossamer performing "Take A Walk" and the infectious album cut "Carried Away" on Saturday Night Live. Both tracks, along with the album, saw a spike in sales after the bands energetic performance this past weekend showing that in conjunction with prominent features and collaborations over the months - including including a synch in Obama's 100 Days Campaign, an original track on The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 soundtrack and inclusion in the Brooks Brothers 2012 Fall Catalog – Passion Pit are continuing to grow strong with Gossamer; a dichotomous masterwork bound by the precise vision of wunderkind Michael Angelakos
