Alexz Johnson / Jared & The Mill

Alexz Johnson is an independent Canadian singer/songwriter and actress based in Brooklyn, NY.With a unique, soulful folk-pop sound and passionate songwriting style, she is referred to as a modern-day Stevie Nicks with the vocal style of Aretha Franklin.Her acting success in TV and film as a young adult helped Alexz garner a massive and loyal international fan following.In 2012, she raised over $67,000 through Kickstarter to fund the release of her Skipping Stone EP as well as her sold out North American tour.And in 2014, Alexz's fans once again showed their support when she raised over $50,000 on PledgeMusic to produce her EP, HEARTand head out on her first European tour.Alexz plans to release a full length LP produced by David Kahne later this year.

Jared & The Mill is an Indie/Folk outfit from Phoenix, AZ who is humbly making themselves a household name in the industry. The band, thanks to their talented songwriting skills, feature an eclectic mix of Indie Rock, Folk, and Americana, with subtle doses of Jazz and the Blues. 2014 has been an incredible year for Jared & The Mill. With constant touring, both headlining and supporting the likes of Zac Brown Band, John Butler Trio, Barry Gibb, Boy & Bear, Della Mae, The Black Lillies and many others, this band has even further refined the their live show.

The band has had some incredible experiences this year, perhaps the most significant being the excitement and joy of turning an unfortunate SXSW tragedy into a cheerful experience with a close fan of the band in her hospital setting. Proud and excited with the success they have obtained so far in 2014, the band is even more hungry to continue the trek which will not only take them into major Canadian markets and else where but to cities throughout the US.

By being continually on the move, the band has the opportunity to explore and grow their sound as a creative force. Performing new material in their shows is adding to the terrific energy of an ever-growing fan base that has mobilized them into producing an EP of new material to be released in early 2015.
