Delusions of Godhood

Delusions of Godhood is a band from Salt Lake City, Utah, emerging as a lone Metal act in an area where Deathcore is the main interest. The band was formed on April 28th by lead vocalist/drummer Connor Carlson a few months after the breakup of his previous band, WarmaW. Connor soon recruited ex-WarmaW bassist, Cayden Carlson, and keyboardist, Brendan Hutto. Weeks later, Connor recruited ex-WarmaW lead guitarist Nick Zmyslo, who had been in many various bands with Connor over the years. Delusions of Godhood plays a form of Extreme Metal known as Melodic Death Metal, although they aren't restricted to just one (sub)genre. They have released two singles, and are currently recording their debut full-length album, titled "Dreamscape", scheduled to be released in early May (2014).
