Roots Like Mountains

Fighting the Pheonix formed 2 weeks before the 2010 Canon City High School talent show. the band started off with the two brothers zach and kyle as a daily garage jam session cover their favorite bands. A month later they recruited Mike Zello because he was one of the most respectable guitarists in Canon, also he could do screams and clean vocals. Two weeks before their first show they recruited Kyle Parker from Timmy Sadlers band 40 till 5 to play bass for them. A week after the talent show Kyle quit 40 till 5 to be the full time bassist for As Light Fades.A few months later austin parks was recruited from a talent show act he performed. he is now the full time second guitarist. A week later the band changed from As Light Fades to Fighting the Phoenix.
